The objective of the training is to familiarize participants with the types of wastes that can be composted, the process and basic operational tasks of garden and community composting, and to provide information about the opportunities for compost use.

Target group of training:

Anyone who is interested.

Content of course unit:

  • types of waste that can be composted, feedstock mixing proportions, 
  • set-up and maintenance of garden and community composting units, care and maintenance of the composting process,
  • operational tasks, equipment use, 
  • properties of quality compost and compost use

Duration of training program:

  • hours of theoretical classes: 2 hours
  • hours of practical classes: 6 hours
  • sum of hours spent with classes: 8 hours

Form of training: group training

Criterion for issuing the Training Program Certificate:

  • participation in the entire training
  • full payment of training fee
